About Us
It was love at first sight as I stood on the picnic table at the lookout on I-95, looking west and watching the sun set over Mount Kathdin in the distance. I knew at that point that one day I would conquer it. I came back a few years later and did just that. That was the beginning of my love for Baxter State Park and for hiking.
Many years later Vicki and I began hiking all the trails in New Brunswick where we live. We live close to the border and return to Maine a couple of times a year to hike the mountains at Baxter State Park or to explore the glacial sculpted mountains at Acadia National Park. We have hiked mountains in the UK and at the Grand Canyon but always return to the mountains of Maine for their rugged wilderness.
We love hiking the amazing trails in Maine and we share our experiences on social media (links below). We provide trail info on this website so that you can get out and explore and find out why we love it so much.
Our goal is to get everyone to go explore all of the amazing places in Maine. The choices are endless.
